I didn’t think this man could rise any higher in my estimation. But he has. Neil Finn just released a new song, recorded with his fellow Fleetwood Mac band mates, Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks. The song, Find Your Way Back Home, was written to help raise money for the Auckland City Mission and their work for homeless people in Auckland, New Zealand. Writing on the Auckland City Missions’s website Neil said that everyone should have a home.

“I have always been aware of how important the City Mission is in our community representing and supporting everyday the homeless people of Auckland. Now more than ever, as we shelter in place I am reminded that everyone should have a home where they feel safe and be well.” Neil Finn

Homeground is an initiative of the Auckland City Mission. The Mission describes the project as a purpose-built, safe space to stand against homelessness, hunger and poor health.

Offering pragmatic,hands-on services and support to help those who need it most, the 21st century Auckland City Mission will offer a powerful new way of solving age-old problems.  We’re completely transforming our current site into a purpose-built housing and social services facility- expanding our services, and helping those who really need it most.
